Every time a safety warning is overridden, Carerealm logs it. The Override Logs page lists every override for the area, filterable by type and date.
Override types listed here
allergy— allergy alert overridden.drug_interaction— interaction alert overridden.max_daily_dose— daily-dose ceiling overridden.max_daily_blocked— daily-dose ceiling that was hard-blocked (no override path).
Note — Off-schedule administrations are tracked separately in Approvals, not in Override Logs. The same applies to
sheet_expiredandmedication_expiredoverrides — they're recorded but surface in the activity log rather than this page.

Audit use
Frequent overrides on a specific medication or by a specific carer warrant follow-up. Don't leave them unchecked — they're where audit risk lives.
