Header controls (desktop)
◀ / ▶ arrows on either side of the day heading — previous / next day.
Today button between them — snaps back to today.
Overflow (⋯) menu also has a Go to today item.
Weekly strip (mobile)
Below the header, mobile shows a row of M T W T F S S pills with the current week's dates. Visual cues:
Faint primary background — that day has entries.
Primary-coloured text — today.
Filled circle — the day you're currently viewing.
Swipe the strip left / right to move between weeks.
Month calendar (desktop right column)
A full month calendar sits in a sticky right-column panel. Click any date to jump straight there. Days with entries show a faint background fill. Below the calendar, the Monthly overview block shows totals, daily average, last entry, trend vs previous month, and (with AI on) keyword chips for people, locations, moods and topics.
Deep-linking
The selected day is reflected in the URL as ?day=YYYY-MM-DD. Copy and share the URL to point a colleague at a specific day.
