The diary view can pull in two extra signal types from the same day: form submissions (pink cards) and medication administrations (emerald cards). They appear inline in the chronological feed — not as a separate strip at the top.
Form cards (pink)
Show time, submitter, form template name + description.
Have a pink View form response button — opens the submission.
Kebab menu offers View form response and Manage form template.
Medication cards (emerald)
Show time, administered-by, medication name + dosage, the supported person, an outcome badge (Taken / Refused / Not Available / Other).
A yellow Off-schedule pill appears if the administration was outside the buffer window — hover for the reason.
A green View MAR sheet button + external-link icon jumps back to the eMAR sheet.
Turning them on or off
Two toggles in Diary configuration:
Show form responses in diary (
show_forms).Show medication administrations in diary (
show_medications).
Note — These toggles only affect what shows in the diary view. Forms and eMAR still record everything in their own apps regardless — the diary is just surfacing them for context.
