The timeline is the heart of the eMAR dashboard. Doses are grouped by their scheduled administration time. Each row is one medication; each column is a time slot.
Switching views
View | Shows |

Daily | One full day. Best for the active shift. |
Weekly (default) | Seven days. Useful for compliance review at the end of the week. |
Monthly | A month at a glance. |
Reading a cell
Background colour — administration status (see Understanding status colours).
Badges — small pills indicate PRN (violet) and Off-schedule (yellow) administrations.
Bell icon — alert sent because the dose has been missed past its buffer.
Late badge — Violet "Late" pill marks a retrospective recording.
Filtering
Use the status filter pills above the timeline (All / Given / Missed / Due) to focus on what needs attention. The filter applies to the visible window.
Note — The Monthly view shows day-level summaries rather than per-dose detail. For deeper compliance analysis, use the Stats tab in the eMAR nav — that's where compliance percentages and trends across the month are surfaced.
