eMAR → More → Settings → Approvals & Safety. The realm-wide settings that govern when an administration needs manager sign-off and who gets emailed.
Approval modes
Pick one of three modes for each of off-schedule and retrospective administrations:
none— no approval. Administrations proceed normally.non_blocking(default for retrospective) — administrations proceed immediately, approval requested in parallel.blocking— administrations held in the approval queue until approved.
Recipient lists
Approval manager emails — comma-separated list of people who get the approval request emails. Shared between off-schedule and retrospective.
Off-schedule notification emails — recipients of off-schedule notifications even when not requesting approval.
Per-medication notify emails — overrides on individual medications.

Allow retrospective recording — master switch. Off = no retrospective entries permitted.
Auto-archive expired medications after X days — drives the automatic archive cron.
Require double-verification — toggle for the second-staff witness on positive outcomes.
