Attaching receipts

How to attach a receipt image to a transaction — one per transaction.

Attaching when you record

The new-transaction form has a drag-and-drop receipt area. Drop a JPG, PNG or PDF, or click to upload. One file per transaction.

Adding a receipt after the fact

Open the existing transaction and use the receipt upload control. The new image replaces any existing one — there's no "version history" of receipts.

Viewing a receipt

Click the receipt thumbnail in the transaction row to open a full-size preview.

Removing a receipt

Open the transaction and use the Remove receipt action on the receipt thumbnail. Confirm. The transaction stays; the image is detached.

Tip — Take the receipt photo with the Carerealm mobile app when you're still at the till. Catch the receipt straight away — modern till receipts can fade to blank within weeks in a drawer.

Note — You can only attach one image per transaction. If a transaction has multiple receipts (e.g. a card receipt and an itemised receipt), combine them into one image before uploading, or record the secondary information in the description.
