Policies & Procedures are realm-wide documents — Safeguarding, Medication, Infection Control, GDPR, and so on. Every signed-in member of your realm can read them; only realm admins can publish or edit.
Where policies live
Top-level — Policies & Procedures in the side menu, available to every user.
Per- — the same policies surface inside every area under its Policies tab, scoped to that area's context. Same documents, different entry point.
What's on every policy
Title and body — body uses the same rich-text editor as About sections.
Folder — optional. Group related policies (e.g. "Medication", "Safeguarding").
Read receipts — staff who have marked the latest revision as read appear on the "Read by" list.
Audit trail — every revision is preserved separately. Auditors can browse the history.
Same engine as About
Behind the scenes, Policies share the same data model as About sections — the only difference is the scope (realm-wide vs area-specific). The revision, read-receipt, and folder behaviour is identical.
