Signing in with Google, Microsoft or Apple

Use a work account you already have — no separate Carerealm password to remember.

If your realm has enabled it, you can sign in with a single click using Google, Microsoft or Apple. There's no separate Carerealm password to remember — you go via your existing work account.

How it works

On the login screen you'll see buttons for the providers your realm allows. Click one, sign in to that provider (with whatever credentials and MFA it expects), and you're returned to Carerealm already signed in.

Supported providers

Provider

Best for

Google

Organisations on Google Workspace or staff with personal Gmail accounts.

Microsoft

Organisations on Microsoft 365 / Azure AD.

Apple

iOS-first organisations and contractors with Apple IDs.

Account linking

If your provider email exactly matches the email on an existing Carerealm user, the two are linked automatically the first time you sign in. If the emails don't match you'll be asked to confirm before continuing.

For realm admins

Toggle providers on or off at Admin → Settings → Authentication. Each provider has its own switch — only the ones you turn on appear on your realm's login screen. If you want to require SSO (i.e. hide the password login form), that's the "Require SSO" toggle on the same page.

Tip — If a provider's button isn't on your login screen, it's either not enabled by your realm admin, or the platform doesn't have credentials configured for that provider. Ask your admin first.
