Signing up and your first login

Create an account, accept an invite, and what happens the first time you sign in.

There are two routes onto Carerealm: an existing realm admin invites you, or you sign up directly and a brand-new realm is created from your sign-up.

Joining an existing organisation (invite)

If your manager has invited you, you'll receive an email titled "You've been invited to Carerealm". Click the button in the email — the link is single-use and bound to your email address.

  1. Open the invite email. Check your spam folder if it didn't arrive within a few minutes.

  2. Click the invite link.

  3. Pick a password, OR sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple if your organisation has those providers enabled. The buttons that appear on the login screen tell you what's available.

  4. Confirm your name and accept the terms of use.

  5. You'll land on the dashboard. Any areas you've been given access to appear as cards.

Note — Invite links expire after 7 days. If your link no longer works, ask the person who invited you to resend it from Admin → Account directory.

Starting a brand-new realm

If you're setting Carerealm up for your own service, go to carerealm.com and click "Get started". You'll be the first user — automatically a realm admin — and you'll be guided through naming your organisation, picking your realm wording, creating your first area and inviting your team.

Single sign-on

If your organisation has SSO enabled, the Google / Microsoft / Apple buttons appear automatically on the login screen. Use whichever matches your work account — you won't need a separate Carerealm password.

Forgot your password?

The login screen has a "Forgot password" link. We'll email you a reset link to whichever address your account uses. See Changing your password for full detail.

Tip — Bookmark your organisation's login URL. If your realm uses a custom subdomain or branding, that URL takes you straight to your branded sign-in screen.
