Carerealm offers a light and a dark theme. The toggle is a sun/moon icon next to your avatar in the top-right of the header — one click flips between modes.
How the toggle works
Sun icon (light) — high-contrast white background. Best for daytime / well-lit offices.
Moon icon (dark) — soft-tinted dark background. Easier on the eyes for late shifts or night-shift handovers.
Per-device
Your choice is stored in your browser, so each device remembers its own preference. Your phone can be in dark mode while your office machine is in light mode — Carerealm doesn't override either one.
Note — There isn't a separate "follow system" mode in Carerealm right now — pick whichever theme suits the device. If you'd like an auto-switch option, send us a request via the help-centre feedback link.
Tip — Working in shared spaces? Some staff find dark mode reduces glare during night handover; others find light mode easier when reading long About sections. Try both.
