Open My account from the avatar menu in the top-right of any page. This is your personal settings hub — anything you change here applies to your account only, not the realm as a whole.
What you can change
Display name — what colleagues see on diary entries, eMAR records, messages, and read receipts.
Avatar — upload a photo or accept the auto-generated initials.
Bio — a short description of who you are and what you do (visible to others in your realm).
Password — see Changing your password.
Two-factor authentication — see Two-factor authentication.
Notification preferences — see Notification preferences.
Theme — light or dark; see Theme and display.
What you can't change yourself
Email address — for security reasons your sign-in email is locked. Contact [email protected] if you need it changed.
Your role — admins set this from Admin → Account directory.
Your — granted per-area by a realm admin or area moderator.
Super-admin status — platform-only, not user-settable.
Tip — A clear display name and recognisable avatar make diary entries far easier to scan. "J. Smith" with a photo reads instantly; "Joanne Smith (12345)" forces colleagues to translate.
