Users and roles

Inviting users, assigning realm admin, and how role badges work.

Open Admin → Users to manage everyone in your realm.

Inviting

Click "Invite user". Enter an email address, pick a default role and (optionally) the areas they should land with access to. They get an invite email; once they accept, they show up in the user list as active.

Roles

  • User — default. Can be added to areas and assigned moderator status per-area.

  • Admin (`user_type = 2`) — realm admin. Full access to every area and every admin surface.

  • Super-admin — platform-wide control across realms. Reserved for the Carerealm team; not assignable from within a realm.

Per-area moderator

Within each area, you can promote any user to moderator. That gives them rights over that one area's settings + member list without making them a realm admin.
