e-MARS (Carerealm's eMAR) is the electronic medication administration record for an area. It replaces paper MAR charts with a live timeline that staff record against, with built-in safety checks (drug interactions, allergies, dose limits, missed-dose alerts) and a full audit trail.

eMAR is one of the per-area apps — turn it on in Area settings. Every area that uses eMAR has its own medications list, MAR sheets and stock counts.
Heads up — eMAR is part of the legal medicines record. Recordings are timestamped with your name and cannot be silently edited. Wrong recordings get corrected via specific flows (retrospective, off-schedule, override) so the audit trail stays intact.
