The Queued tab inside an area's Forms app is for "please complete this template by [deadline]". A queued form lands on the assignee's dashboard, sends them notifications, and shows up on the area's Calendar at its deadline.
Opening the queue dialog
From the Queued tab → primary button + Queue a form. The "Queue a form for completion" dialog opens (max-width about half the screen).
The dialog — 6 sections
Form template — three scope tabs (All / This {{area}} / Shared) plus a search box. Pick a template; it shows a green tick when selected.
Assignees — two multi-select pickers side by side: Required and Optional. Picking a user in one excludes them from the other.
Deadline & completion — a datetime-local picker (optional) plus a Completion rule dropdown: Every required user must submit (each) or First submission completes it (first).
Reminders — four switches: Notify on creation (on by default), 24 hours before (on), 1 hour before (off), Overdue alert (on). The time-based ones require a deadline.
Recurrence — Don't repeat / Daily / Weekly / Monthly. Recurrence requires a deadline (the engine uses the deadline as the schedule anchor).
Optional details — custom title shown to assignees, plus a notes textarea for instructions.

What assignees see
On the Templates tab — an amber "Due in [time]" or red "Overdue" pip next to the template. See Queue pips.
On the Queued tab — the row shows up with a "For you" pill.
Notifications — the bell + email at create-time (if enabled), then at the configured reminder intervals.
Cancelling a queue item
On the Queued tab, the red trash icon on the right of each row cancels a queue item. The author and area moderators can cancel. A confirm dialog asks "Cancel this queued form? Assignees will be notified.".
