The dashboard is the first thing you see when you sign in. It welcomes you back and surfaces every area you have access to.
Greeting + Next steps
New realms see a "Next steps" panel with onboarding cards: create your first area, set up policies, invite your team, secure your account. Each card links straight to the setting it walks you through. Cards complete and disappear as you tick the steps off — by the time your service is up and running, the panel is gone.
Pinned areas
Below the next-steps panel sits the main grid: a card per area you can access. Each card shows the area's name, its parent group, when it was last active, and quick links into its most-used apps (Diary, eMAR, Forms). Click anywhere on the card to open the area.
Note — If your dashboard feels empty, you may not have access to any areas yet. Ask your realm admin to add you via Admin → Account directory, or — if you're an admin yourself — head to Admin → Area manager to create your first area.
What about reminders and queued forms?
Per-area reminders live inside that area's Reminders page; queued forms appear in each area's Forms page. The notification bell in the header (see Navigating the app) surfaces anything assigned to you across every area you can access — that's the one stop for "what do I need to do today".
