A MAR sheet is the per-period administration record — typically one sheet per 28-day period, though Carerealm doesn't enforce that.
Steps
Open eMAR → Sheets.
Click Create sheet.
Patient identity — full name (
patient_full_name), DOB, GP, NHS number.Patient allergies — free-text, kept alongside the structured allergies in the safety profile. Both are checked at administration.
Sheet name — usually the date range (e.g. "May 2026 — period 5").
Validity window —
valid_from/valid_until. Optional but recommended — recordings outside the window are flagged.Description — optional notes for the sheet.
Save.
Note — Allergies typed here are independent of the safety profile. Update both when allergies change — see Settings: Patient safety profile.
Scheduled sheet creation
For services that run on a fixed cycle, set up a Scheduled sheets rule and Carerealm will auto-create each new sheet on schedule.
