The Inbox is Carerealm's team chat. Messages stay inside your organisation, are encrypted on disk, and only the people in a channel or DM can see them.
Channels you'll see
Channels — named rooms for a topic or team (e.g. #handover, #safeguarding). Public channels show up in the directory; private ones are invite-only.
Area channels — one per supported person / area. Membership tracks area access automatically — no one to invite, no one to remove.
Direct messages — one-to-one or small-group chats with people in your organisation.
Where to find it
Inbox lives in the main left navigation. On mobile it's a dedicated tab in the bottom bar.
