Per-channel notification levels
Open a channel's settings (cog icon). Three levels:
Every message — full notifications. Default for new channels.
Only @-mentions and DMs — only when someone tags you.
Nothing — fully muted. Mentions still show in the mentions feed but don't notify.
Toggle quickly via the bell icon in the channel header.
Realm-wide snooze
Click your avatar → Snooze notifications. Pick a duration:
20 minutes
1 hour
4 hours
Until tomorrow
While snoozed, all push and email notifications are suppressed. Mentions still surface in the in-app bell and the mentions feed.
Quiet hours
Heads up — Carerealm's backend supports quiet-hours scheduling (e.g. "no notifications between 22:00 and 07:00") but there isn't a UI to configure it today. If you need this, ask your realm admin to set it via the API directly, or wait for the upcoming UI release.
Email notifications
Email behaviour is controlled at My account → Notifications. Options: email on every new message, email on reply to your messages, daily digest, mute-until-N.
