Acknowledging a shift

Acknowledging a shift tells your manager you've seen it. Tap Acknowledge on My shifts or the area's rota.

Acknowledging a shift is a quick way to confirm you've seen a shift your manager has assigned to you. It gives the team peace of mind that the shift is covered and nothing has been missed.

Each of your published shifts shows an Acknowledge button until you confirm it. Once you've acknowledged, the button is replaced by a green Acknowledged label.

You can acknowledge a shift in two places: on your My shifts page, or on the area's Rota tab (on your own shift). Only published shifts that are assigned to you can be acknowledged.

Step-by-step
  1. 1Open **My shifts** (or the area's **Rota** tab).
  2. 2Find the shift you want to confirm.
  3. 3Tap **Acknowledge**.
  4. 4Check the shift now shows the green **Acknowledged** label.
Tips
  • Acknowledging doesn't lock you in — if you can't make a shift, use **Swap / cover** to request a change.
  • In the calendar view, acknowledged shifts are shown in green.
