Viewing your shifts

Open My shifts to see your published shifts in a list or calendar, with the time, who it's for and the duration.

My shifts is your personal view of the rota. It shows your upcoming published shifts across every area you support, all in one place.

At the top you'll see two tabs: Shifts (your rota) and Leave & availability (booking time off and setting when you can work). This article covers the Shifts tab.

The header also has a Documents link — open it to read and e-sign any documents your manager has assigned to you, such as contracts, policies or training certificates.

List and Calendar views

Use the List / Calendar toggle to switch how your shifts are shown. The list groups shifts by day under headings like Today and Tomorrow. The calendar shows a whole month at a glance, and you can move between months with the arrows or jump back with Today.

What each shift shows

Every shift gives you the key details at a glance:

  • The start and end time of the shift

  • Who it's for — the area's name

  • How long it lasts, plus any break minutes

  • Any note your manager added

  • A label for special shift types (for example a sleep-in), where one applies

  • A View rota link to open that area's full rota

Each shift also has an Acknowledge button until you confirm it, and a Swap / cover button if you need to request a change.

Why a shift might not appear

My shifts only lists shifts that have been published and assigned to you. A draft shift your manager is still working on won't show here yet. If you have no shifts, you'll see a note that open shifts you're eligible for appear on each area's rota.

Tips
  • Your view choice (List or Calendar) is remembered for next time.
  • If a shift you expected is missing, it may not be published yet — check with your manager.
