Once you've sent a swap, drop or cover request, you can keep an eye on it right on the My shifts page. Two sections appear above your shifts when you have any activity.
Needs your response
This section lists requests other people have sent your way — a swap a colleague has offered you, or a cover request you could pick up. Each shows the shift and who asked, with Accept and Decline buttons.
Your requests
This section lists the requests you've raised. Each shows the request type, the shift, and a status badge so you always know where it's up to:
Awaiting colleague — your swap or cover is waiting for someone to accept it
Awaiting manager — it's accepted (or dropped) and now needs a manager's approval
Approved — the change has gone through
Declined — a colleague turned down your swap or cover
Rejected — a manager didn't approve the request
Withdrawn — you cancelled it yourself
While a request is still pending you'll see a Withdraw button to cancel it. Once a request is approved, declined, rejected or withdrawn, it can't be changed.
If you have no requests at all, these sections simply don't appear.
- Withdraw a pending request if your plans change, or to free the shift up so you can try a different option.
- You'll also get a notification each time one of your requests is responded to.
